Childhood is undergoing its biggest transformation since the Industrial Revolution. While the Digital Age brings extraordinary potential for learning, creativity, and connection, it has created an online world that’s often unkind, divisive, and unsafe for children and teens.

Gen Z and Generation Alpha are growing up anxious, distracted, and lonely – struggling to build resilience, to discern what’s real, and to feel joy. Social media rewards performance over authenticity, aggression over compassion, and self-centeredness over empathy. Bullying and cyberbullying have become widespread. We are losing touch with what it means to be human.

Power of Zero is a global collaborative initiative to reverse this spiral.  We work with schools, families, and teachers to raise a generation that leads with kindness, online and off. Through classroom programs, whole-school culture change, and digital parenting we support children in developing the life skills they need for their wellbeing in a digital world.  Our foundational belief is that it’s not too late: that kindness can be taught, resilience can be learned, and the best of humanity – its creativity, courage, and compassion – can be passed forward.  We’re not just helping children navigate the internet. We’re helping them shape its future.
